Gruene Lions Club Benefit Bash sponsored by Gruene Harley Davidson.

The Gruene Lions will have a 78 mile fun run through one of the most beautiful areas of Texas with prizes from local merchants. The Guadelupe River is one of the most beautiful in the USA, we will take you on a run that crosses and parallels this landmark for almost 20 miles.

The tree canopy, cliffs, and River views are breathtaking. Don't forget to stop at the Canyon Lake overlook, views of the lake and wide open spaces, nice place for a break.

Then we will ride the north west side of the lake to get to the Devils Backbone. This stretch of highway gives the impression of being in the mountains, well they are some big hills, but the twists and turns on this 4 lane are exhilarating. Every time I ride this area I stop at the end and ride back to get it one more time, also there is a rest area that is very relaxing.

1st bike out at 9 a.m. last bike in by 1 p.m. $10.00 rider, $5.00 passenger. Bike games begin at 1 pm. so when you get in from the run be looking for the games. We want everyone who participates in the run to get in on the games. Everyone needs a good laugh, even if it's you they are laughing AT/WITH. The show will start around 3 p.m. depending on how many participate in the games. We will have at least 4 classes, any brand, any age, any size, with prizes for winners in each. So polish her up, put on the parade dressings and show the world why you love yours.

As if all this wasn't enough for a beautiful Saturday in the most beautiful city in Texas, we also have a concert. We call it the BASH, it's just too much fun not to be called a BASH. This is the 3rd annual and it just keeps getting better. Tickets for the Bash are $25.00, $5.00 off with paid run stub, music starts at 5 p.m. featuring Wade Bowen, Micky & the Motorcars, and The Blues Burners.

And just because we love ya, we are having an after Bash party sponsored by and at Bubba's Big Deck, right on the banks of the Guadelupe River in the historic district of New Braunfels, Gruene. So tell your friends, buddies, allies, and family if you chose, to come out for a wonderfully good time all day in Gruene.
