There is alot of news lately regarding the housing market, government initiatives, new legislation, refinancing, etc.  Some of it can get very confusing. 

 

One great initiative has been www.MakingHomeAffordable.gov.  This website helps homeowners who might be in a financial bind to figure out if they are eligible for mortgage modifications.  I hope that none of you need this, but if you know of someone who is struggling, please pass along this information to them!  There are so many options out there right now to help keep people in their homes!  I have also attached the Frequently Asked Questions section of the website.  It's great info!
